FAR AWAY. American, Waltz. USA, New York. B Minor. Standard tuning. AA'BB. Composed in 1985 by Pete Jung (Kingston, N.Y.), who said: “I wrote this while playing the mandolin, on the way back home from a Brattleboro (VT) Dawn Dance, at about 7 A.M. I wrote it for a particular woman who has an enchanting but elusive quality-that was what I was trying to convey.”
Wow! A New York State waltz played perfectly half way around the world. I hope the guitar player is in a tuning because I can't figure how he's getting those beautiful drone notes. Just wonderful.
Lovely is the word! Found sheet music for this at The Session, but I don't want to share any different version with my more sight-reading friends - this version is perfection.
Wow, beautiful! One of the best renditions I've heard of this waltz.
Woow! Gorgeous playing, and I loved the harmonization! =) This was such a great performance. ^_^
I met this song folling you :)

Lovely - you play exquisite fiddle - so finely expressive and hauntingly beautiful. All of you play so well.
