This page, nice as it is, is in practice only being used by one person to thank anyone (who agrees with them according to someone else on this page - I have specifically not looked at the edits concerned as I don't want this to be seen as motivated by some kind of climate change agenda on my part) when making climate change related edits.
If you remove that IP then crickets... maybe this is used every two months on average?
If that's the case maybe this should be marked inactive and/or moved to climate change wikiproject? Egg Centric 16:15, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- From what I can tell, it is linked to about 1000 active pages. (and about 500 archived pages) -- Avanu (talk) 16:30, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- That strengthens my case, if anything. Plenty of awareness of it all over the project, no one actually using it! Egg Centric 18:38, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- I think it is generally used as a friendly message, rather than as a venue. -- Avanu (talk) 18:42, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

- Keep, it has a lot of history associated with the page, if you really wanted to, just mark it as {{historical}} and move on. LegoKontribsTalkM 19:16, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep per Legoktm, basically harmless, mark as historical if need be. Mark Arsten (talk) 04:59, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep as is. Nomination makes no sense. There is no problem with this page. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 10:07, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. This is a joke nomination, right? "Page isn't used. I mean, I haven't looked at the way it's used, but let's delete it. Oh, it's used? Well, all the more reason to delete it!" I'm thoroughly confused about what this has to do with climate change, to boot. The fact that an IP who edits this page edits climate change articles as well means, uh, what exactly? If the page is no longer used, or is used rarely, there's no harm in marking it historical, but this nomination for deletion on the basis of nothing-in-particular-and-also-something-something-climate-change-something seems...misguided. A fluffernutter is a sandwich! (talk) 21:01, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. Valid essay, no good reason for deletion. I respectfully suggest withdrawal of this nomination or a SNOW close soon. Newyorkbrad (talk) 21:12, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. Barring newly discovered severe problems, a WP: space page this old should never be deleted; that's why we have {{historical}} Nyttend (talk) 02:42, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep. Per above comments, I have added the historical tag. Formerip (talk) 13:35, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- Keep as tagged. This is a relic of a bygone era, and what we should respect. It harkens to a simpler time where, instead of displaying barnstars, it was "Oh, Ricky thinks Sarah did a good job" and everyone knew who was being spoken about. It's quaint, it's folksy, it's historic. Achowat (talk) 13:59, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
